09:29 pm - Drawings from the other goofy day Writing a skills based resume makes me feel like a cad. Tonight I am taking a break and making a Suppermon cover so I can FINALLY print that shit for the SCAD zine fest!!

I don't need to design characters I can just draw goofy versions of Jon Wolfe

"Keep it easy, sleazies!"

10:46 am - I need some other opinions:

Sean wrote my copy on this (which is why I weigh 210 pounds) and some of the writing is still going to get changed. I don't know if I should go for the frilly hipster aesthetic on it either, or if I should go all out 80s or 90s or what. Real trading card games have really awful design as far as I've seen. Also the image of me is just silly and not supposed to be there but people say they like it, and i'm so apprehensive about putting myself on this (its already so cheesy) but I wouldn't know where to take it.

I have no idea. The point is that its ugly but thats probably also a terrible choice. The fun thing is that I could stamp or hole punch it . Maybe I will redesign it and spend more time on it if you like the concept. Also reverting back on a previous idea I had, I think I am going to mail a company I REALLY REALLY like but probably have low chances of working with a box of cereal, and write "I'll bring the milk" on it. That's gotta charm Laika into letting me be janitor, right?

07:31 pm - Stories from the Fort Pulaski prison
“It was thought of a streak of the finest fortune to be so lucky as to procure a small rat. Though horrible to the thoughts of men in good society, and decidedly offensive to the taste, they made a savory meal, and as much desired as a dainty meal at home.” -Capt. John J. Dunkle, 25th Va. Inf.

“Burgess roasted the big cat today and we found that hunger had removed so many prejudices we, the owners, got a small share. I found the ribs and part of the back elegant food, and the gravy was splendid sop.” –Capt. Henry Dickson 2nd VA. Cav.

Paper Moon doodles
...is some dude on Flickr
..is my neighbor. I was going through my parents' things looking for my dad's old engineering volvelles*, and I found my mom's old Tarot cards and scanned my favorites:

*Don't try and act like that's a word everybody knows.
Also, no one cares but this was my beekeeping, peacock farmer uncle. I wasn't making this up!
I forgot to mention I was on Fleen a month ago! Thank you Colleen and Gary!
Discussion questions: Why is my cat coughing, who has made a volvelle before and could give tips, and what would be the best paper to self-publish my own Chick track style literature on?

08:28 pm - Who "Drew" this?
I have been having some fun this December. I saw "Paper Moon", "Band of Outsiders", and "MILK". I am also watching a lot of "Pushing Daisies" but I can't get into "Chuck." I really want to see "Delgo" because I know and dislike the co-director. I baked lots of cookies with honey and made a delicious quiche. I am almost done with my comic submission for Side B, the last page looks a lot better than the other 3 because I put the ink wash down before i inked it with my water soluble ink.

11:44 pm - Urban Buzz Character designs So this quarter I took Exploring the Narrative and wrote a script about Illegal inner city beekeeping. I don't really know what to say about it right now finals are really blowing my mind. My one regret is that I didn't get to finish the script, but hopefully I might over break.
Everyone is wearing essentially the same shoes I should mix it up.

I am tossing this design but here it is anyway. Its not a mad scientist, which is why I'm tossing it.
Anyway I have to go. People are freestyle rapping in Montgomery I really don't deserve this.
OH OH! Also! THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone who showed up for my Birthday. Mooshe gave me a honey comb, Jeremy gave me a CD, Jess gave me 30% off, Tiffany at "Gold Club" gave me a private dance, and Colleen made a cake. (I guess Robert slapped me outside Sweet Melissa's and my parents emailed me an envelope with 3 packets of Equal.) I am doing a really bad job of keeping in contact with all my friends this quarter, I just get really busy with work and hate telephones. I was just really glad to spend time with friends before the quarter ended one way or another.
