05:34 pm - Nedvember 7th I used to have long hair. I really romanticize those days... I thought I was super cool! Everyone says I look a lot better without it. As you can tell I've been playing around with markers a lot more! I draw all the time but I never finish things. I want to start treating my sketches with more time and love. 08:13 pm - Nedvember 4, 5 Laura Nelson drew me with a head shaped like this in 2006! It was also the pic that started the whole quail bobber thing. Today I went to the Jepson Center and saw a gallery of photos from the Civil Rights movement in Savannah. It was an amazingly curated show, and the photographs were not only technically amazing but incredibly moving. A woman was trying to explain to her 8 year old why it was all so important ... it made me tear up. And then I went to class and watched a video of Judy Garland in blackface, so I don't know whats up anymore. Tags: macy, nedvember, racism
